The hotel itself is quiet, clean, and well worth the price. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and repeatedly checked in with my friends and I. I was blown away by the staff (especially Kim), who was kind enough to write out recommendations for places to go around the area. That lady is the best! Highly recommend this stay!!
Nice place. In a pretty area. Pretty view. Quaint. Rooms are a bit small and a bit dark, but comfortable. Very good climate control. Ample ice, drink machine, microwave in lobby. Rooms have a fridge, iron, ironing board, and blow dryer. Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. We've stayed several times. Friendly staff.
Love this place. Down home staff, quiet but really accessible to everything and reasonable pricing rather than the big chain places. Been back many many times.
Seriously one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Creek view room was beautiful and clean. The bath was amazing and the view was astonishing. The care takers take serious pride in keeping this building together and it shows. Will 100% be returning.
We are local and just wanted to get away a couple of days . This place exceeded all our expectations! We were in the sunroom with a soaking tub. Because we are local we really didn't need to go out much . This room was so comfortable and felt like a relaxing home so staying in by the fireplace was just what we needed. The owner is very nice and made sure we had all we need. This will be our go to place for a night getaway or a night I might need a alone time !
We have been staying at the Smoketown Inn better than 10 years now and are never disappointed. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. It has become a family tradition to stay there when we get away for the weekend. It is close to all the things to do and very quiet when time to sleep. The rates are a good bargain too.
This is definitely a super great place to stay, a true hidden gem! I will for sure return next time I travel in this area again. I stayed in #15 upstairs in the cottage building in back and really enjoyed it, very nice and clean. Enjoyed coffee and pastry in the outdoor patio. The owners, Mike and Linda are very nice, helpful, and informative about the area. It was a joy to stay here for two nights.
This place is wonderful. It's off the main road but close to everything. The country decor of the rooms is absolutely beautiful. It is so quaint, comfortable, and feels like home. There is color and style unlike modern hotels that are so sterile looking and uninviting. My room had 2 queen Anne beds which you won't see in any other hotel. Rooms are very clean and the owner Mike was so very friendly and pleasant. He gave us directions and recommendations to places to see and eat. I plan to return and this will be my automatic go to. No need to look any further for hotel accomodations!
